Navajo Handmade Picture Jasper Dangles
These picture jasper teardrop dangle earrings were handmade by Navajo silversmith Alvin Joe. Large teardrops of earthy picture jasper are set in hand-tooled silver settings with distinctive decorative tool markings on the sides. The backs are signed AJ, Navajo and stamped sterling. This piece is a remarkable representation of the cultural history of jewelry-making by indigenous cultures, which we are honored to share with our customers.
