This piece is inspired by sakura, the Japanese term for cherry trees and their lovely pink flowers. Although originally found in Asia, cherry blossoms have come to symbolize spring in Washington, DC., after a gift of 3,000 cherry trees from the mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to America's capitol in 1912.
Gold Plated ear wires and details have a soft matte gold finish.
