A quick glossary of our gold jewelry terms:
14kt Gold Filled: A tube of 14kt gold filled with a copper or a base metal. With a life span of 25 years or more, this has the most gold content.
14kt Gold Vermeil: Sterling silver plated with 14kt gold to a thickness of 2.5 microns.
Gold plated: Usually 14kt gold plated over a base metal such as brass.
